
Larine Chung
Larine Chung is a Gage teaching artist and graduate of Gage’s Aristides Atelier – an Atelier is an advanced artistic workshop – she is native of Shanghai, China. She trained as a classical pianist in her childhood, but decided to pursue art in college. After she completed her BFA in the Chinese University of Hong Kong, she immigrated to the U.S. She now lives in Seattle and teaches art at Gage and continues to create her own art.
Gage Academy of Art is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary as an t extended learning and contemporary art center in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. They offer fine arts classes based on traditional artistic principles – from oil panting and drawing to sketching and sculpting – for people of all ages, skill-levels, incomes, and schedules. (end)
