Yeo Bee Yin, from Malaysia, met May 28 with members of the Children’s Alliance in Seattle.
Yin is a fellow of the Youth Southeast Asian Leaders Initiative (YSEALI). Fellows are interested in digital democracy, civic engagement and other subjects and are learning from state elected officials and groups like the Children’s Alliance.
YSEALI Professional Fellows will work directly with their American counterparts to enhance their practical expertise, leadership skills, and professional contacts to address challenges and create new opportunities their home countries and communities. (end)
