Doane running for Bar Association Board of Governors

James Doane

James Doane is running for the Washington State Bar Association Board of Governors position in District 7-S. Doane has been Corporate Counsel at Costco Wholesale for 10 years, following more than 20 years in private practice in Seattle, including 12 years as a partner at Preston Gates & Ellis (now K & L Gates), employment as an American Attorney at a Tokyo law firm, and a clerkship with the Washington State Court of Appeals. He attended Waseda University in Tokyo and Harvard College, and studied law at the University of Pennsylvania. (end)
