Gordon Zhang
Mercer Island High School Junior Gordon Zhang was nominated to attend the Congress of Future Medical Leaders on Nov. 14-16 in Washington, DC.
The event is held to motivate students, hear Nobel Laureates and National Medal of Science Winners speak, receive advice from top medical school deans, and be inspired by teen prodigies in the medical science field, among many other activities.
Zhang was nominated by Dr. Connie Mariano, the Medical Director of the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists, based on Zhang’s academic achievement and leadership qualities. (end)
