Kirby Larson
Kirby Larson, children’s author, is releasing a new book on Aug. 26. The story is about a girl named Mitsi Kashino being separated from her dog Dash when her family is sent to incarceration camp during World War II. The story follows her life in the camp while she still hopes to be reunited with her dog once the war is over. Larson has written eight other children’s books. She currently lives in Kenmore with her husband and dog Winston. (end)
