The Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation (MCSF) hosted a reception on July 30 at the Columbia Tower Club to recognize scholarship recipients and Gold Star families—families who have lost loved ones in combat. One of the speakers was a scholarship recipient, Teiler Kwan. Kwan is studying Physics at the University of Oregon and is the son of Vietnam veteran. MCSF is supporting 2,194 students with $6.6 million for the upcoming academic school year. (end)
