Over 400 participants, friends and family and community supporters gathered to celebrate the success of the 7th Annual Kin On Sports Tournament. All three events (table tennis, soccer and badminton) brought in a combined total of close to $40K in support of Kin On’s Expansion Project which included a 2600 sq-ft multipurpose space for conducting exercise classes, health workshops, and other healthy aging activities. The funding will also support an assisted living facility and adult family home (with two types of affordable senior housing with amenities and services tailored to the residents’ needs) as well as a short-term rehab wing and sun room.
