Justice Mary Yu was the special guest at the 2014 Seattle Pride Parade on June 29. She rode behind Celebrity Grand Marshal George Takei with a group of volunteers and supporters passing out stickers and holding signs in support of Yu. She is the first openly gay and first Asian female to serve on the Washington State Supreme Court.
Also joining the parade were Seattle Mayor Ed Murray and his husband, Michael Shiosaki. (end)
