Seattle artist Naoko Morisawa was one of 55 worldwide artist selected to show her artwork at the Dublin Biennial 2014’s International Contemporary Art Exhibition that ran from June 13 to June 22 in Dublin, Ireland. The 10-day event featured film screenings, performances, workshops, and discussions.
Morisawa’s artwork is made of hundreds of very small slices of natural and oil-dyed — often very colorful — wood chips on board. The style is transformed from a traditional Japanese art form. (end)
