Portrait lauds Hon. Smith

On May 20, after Judge Mary Yu was sworn in as an Associate Justice of the Washington Supreme Court in Olympia, the Hon. Charles Z. Smith was honored with unveiling of his portrait by painter Alfredo Arreguin.

Hon. Smith, of African and Hispanic descent, was the first minority to sit on the Court.  (end)
