Shin-Ping Tu
Former Seattleite Shin-Ping Tu, MD, MPH, FACP, joined the Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) Medical Center in November of 2013 as the chair of the division of general internal medicine.
Tu is currently leading the flagship multi-site research project of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Network, Additionally, she has served as a member of committees of the National Cancer Institute, Centers for Disease Control, Society for General Internal Medicine, and Susan G. Komen Foundation. Also, she served as the principal or key investigator on three grants and co-investigator on several additional grants from the National Institutes of Health. (end)
