Gov. Jay Inslee today announced that he is appointing Judge Linda Lee to the Division II Court of Appeals, District III.
Lee, who has served as a Pierce County Superior Court judge since 2004 and a partner at Gordon, Thomas, Honeywell, Malance, Peterson and Daheim LLP for 13 years before that, has an extensive record of professional and civic involvement in Pierce County, including as a former board member for the World Trade Center Tacoma, and currently as a board member for the Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution and Steilacoom Kiwanis.
Lee is replacing retiring judge Christine Quinn-Brintnall, who was first elected to the Court of Appeals in 2000. Lee’s term is effective January 6, 2014. (end)
