Ten people from the Asian Pacific American community were honored as “visionaries” by the Northwest Asian Weekly Foundation on Oct. 18. About 300 people attended the gala event at Seattle’s China Harbor Restaurant, which included a no-host bar, personal welcomes from King County Council candidate Shari Song and Northwest Asian Weekly publisher Assunta Ng, a delicious dinner, and a raffle.
All the honorees were recognized and awarded for their service, accomplishments, and contributions in the APA community. The Visionary Award Gala will be an annual event.
And in case you missed it, we’ve got the pictures!
