Indian Ambassador to the United States Nirupama Rao announced that the next consulate office is approved for Seattle. She made her announcement at a banquet hosted by the Indo American Friendship Forum at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue on Sept. 11.
The banquet was supported by various local Indian American business leaders, community leaders and various Indian American organizations. The Indo American Friendship Forum also sponsored another event on Sept. 12 for the ambassador and the Bellevue City Council and the Trade Development Alliance of Greater Seattle. (end)
