The 2nd Conference of the Masters, an international summit of Vovinam masters, took place in Orlando, Fla. from Aug. 21 to 23. Vovinam is a Vietnam martial arts style. It was founded in 1938.
The conference focused on ways to grow Vovinam popularity both in the United States and internationally as well as codification of Vovinam techniques and forms. New masters were also awarded their new ranks. In total, 12 Vovinam practitioners from Seattle attended. (end)
