Fourth Annual Leadership Together Conference to take place

The Executive Development Institute (EDI), in partnership with Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), is sponsoring the fourth annual Leadership Together Conference on Oct. 12. The conference is a one-day leadership training program targeting APA professionals, but open to all.

This year’s keynote speaker is former Calif. Assemblyman Warren Furutani. Four workshops are scheduled in the morning, including: “The Power of Public Speaking” with Vanna Novak; “The Art of Team Building for Maximum Results” with Stella Gran-O’Donnell; “Women Leaders and the Unique Challenges They Face” with Sutapa Basu, Ph.D.; and “How to Prepare Yourself for Career Advancement” with Lawrence Matsuda, Ph.D.

The afternoon program will feature an executive panel with Chee Chew, vice president at Google; JoAnne Kennedy, vice president of NBC News Digital; Raj Manhas, superintendent of North Thurston School District; and Nicholas Ong, president of Spacelabs Healthcare. (end)

The Fourth Annual Leadership Tomorrow Conference will take place Oct. 12, 2013 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Asian Counseling and Referral Service, 3639 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. Seattle, WA. The registration fee is $50 before Sept. 30 and $75 afterwards.
