The Executive Development Institute (EDI), in partnership with Asian Counseling and Referral Service (ACRS), is sponsoring the fourth annual Leadership Together Conference on Oct. 12. The conference is a one-day leadership training program targeting APA professionals, but open to all.
This year’s keynote speaker is former Calif. Assemblyman Warren Furutani. Four workshops are scheduled in the morning, including: “The Power of Public Speaking” with Vanna Novak; “The Art of Team Building for Maximum Results” with Stella Gran-O’Donnell; “Women Leaders and the Unique Challenges They Face” with Sutapa Basu, Ph.D.; and “How to Prepare Yourself for Career Advancement” with Lawrence Matsuda, Ph.D.
The afternoon program will feature an executive panel with Chee Chew, vice president at Google; JoAnne Kennedy, vice president of NBC News Digital; Raj Manhas, superintendent of North Thurston School District; and Nicholas Ong, president of Spacelabs Healthcare. (end)
