Vandana Slatter, candidate for Bellevue City Council Position 6, hosted her campaign kick off on June 18 at the Bellevue Muncipal Golf Course Clubhouse.
Approximately 100 supporters attended, including State Representatives Judy Clibborn and Cindy Ryu, former State Representative Deb Eddy, and Bellevue City Councilmember Claudia Balducci.
Slatter holds a master’s degree in public administration from the University of Washington’s Evans School of Public Affairs. She is currently a trustee of Overlake Hospital, a volunteer advisor of the Bellevue Community College science department, and works at Amgen as a senior regional medical sciences liaison. Formerly, she was an appointee to the Washing State Board of Pharmacy and a trustee for the Children’s Institute for Learning Differences School. (end)
