Ron Chow, co-founder and CEO of the Seattle Pacific Trading Company, received an appreciation from the U.S. Army on April 23 for his work to help pass Senate Bill 5114. Gov. Inslee signed the bill into law on April 22.
The law, which goes into effect at the end of July, makes it so school districts that provide access to students to occupational or educational organizations would also have to afford the same or equal resources to recruitment representatives of the Job Corps, Peace Corps, AmeriCorps, and the armed forces.
