LeHama Jewelry closed it doors on Saturday, April 20, after 33 years of serving the Asian community in Seattle. Owners Francis and Sirdana Ma will be retiring, and will spend more time gardening and meditating, respectively.
When the store first opened, the Mas worked seven days a week, before slowly scaling back to six and, most recently, five days a week. Following their last day of business, the Mas hosted a party at the Bush Asia Center to celebrate. (end)
