Roy Flores
Roy Flores, former Vice President of Student Development Services at North Seattle Community College, passed away the morning of Tuesday, March 12, after a battle with cancer.
Flores was the longest serving Vice President of Student Services in Washington state, holding the position starting from 1984 to his retirement. He also served as the college’s interim president for a period of time.
Prior to North Seattle Community College, he worked at the University of Washington, serving as the first director of the Ethnic Cultural Center during the early 1970s. (end)
