Kin On announced the results of their selection process to find a contractor and architect for their new expansion project on Wednesday, Nov. 21. They have selected the architecture firm Freiheit and Ho Architects for the project. Construction will be handled by general contractor Mar Pac Construction.
The project was approved in spring of 2012 and will provide a new facility to service the community. The new facility will include a new community space dedicated to promoting healthy aging, including an assisted living facility, an adult family home to offer affordable and culturally appropriate housing with services, and an expanded short-term care unit that will help seniors rehabilitate and transition back to home living.
