The ANA experience is totally new to me. I have never flown ANA before. The Boeing-designed 787 seats are much wider and more comfortable than the other airlines. I felt less fatigued after flying such a long distance.
This was the first time I had the opportunity to appreciate Japanese movies on a plane. I watched two movies, Dearest and Key of Life. They are well done even though the pace was a little slow compared to the U.S. standard.
There were U.S. movies as well, but the choices seemed to be limited and out-of-date. Can you imagine Kramer vs. Kramer and Pretty Woman on the list? It gave me a chance to watch Japanese movies instead. U.S. airlines’ movies are almost brand new. Some movies was just off the theater’s screen and I got to see it on a U.S. plane. (end)
