The Northwest Asian Weekly’s 30th anniversary gala will be an all-inclusive networking event with guests from all ethnicities and varied industries. All attendees will be involved in the festivities, whether by dragon dancing into the dining room, participating in the behind-the-scenes fashion contest, or just enjoying the activities.
Entertainment will be provided by a wide array of different ethnic groups, including a Kung Fu demonstration, the national anthem performed by a Filipino choir, and a Korean Fan Dance performance.
“Our events bring people together to have fun,” said Assunta Ng, publisher of the Northwest Asian Weekly. “That’s the goal of the Asian Weekly. Every guest will be actively participating in our event, from networking to enjoying the program.”
The gala takes place on Oct. 5 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Seattle Sheraton Hotel. (end)
