The Center for APA Women joins the University of Washington School of Law to host a conference on Whole Person Leadership at UW’s W.H. Gates Hall, Sept. 22, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The conference, focused on balancing work and personal life, will include a moderated panel featuring Susan Hacker, vice president of T-Mobile; Jill Nishi, deputy director of the Gates Foundation; Merisa Heu-Weller of Davis Wright Tremaine, Heidi Park from the district office of Congressman Jim McDermott; and Liani Reeves, general counsel of the Oregon Office of the Governor. The conference will feature local APA women from diverse industries who will share their stories, experiences, and practices.
The Center for APA women, formerly known as Asian Pacific American Women’s Leadership Institute (APAWLI), dedicates its efforts to forster the development of API women through development programs, conferences, seminars, and more. (end)
