NORTHWEST ASIAN WEEKLY
I told my friends all week to watch the U.S. play against Japan’s women soccer team as they competed for the gold medal. However, the coverage of the Olympics ended up disappointing many people. How nasty of NBC to squeeze every dime out of the Olympics.
Many of the games featuring Asian athletes were not shown. Luckily, we have cable, and were able to catch the Korea versus Japan game on the Spanish channel. Even in Spanish, it was an exciting game to watch. In the end, the Koreans beat Japan and received the bronze medal. (end)
