On Feb. 9, Seisuke Kamimura helmed the kitchen at RN74 Seattle for the first time. He took over for Michelle Retallack at the Michael Mina restaurant.
A graduate of the French Culinary Institute in New York City, Kamimura brings more than 20 years of experience in the food service and hospitality industries from some of the West Coast’s more notable names, beginning with Wolfgang Puck’s Spago in Beverly Hills. He eventually moved to Seattle, where he opened retail store, Les Cadeaux Gourmets, with wife Pia, selling specialty foods and products from across the globe, before taking the helm to open BOKA Kitchen + Bar at Hotel 1000.
