Singer-songwriter and street performer Carly Calbero, who is half Japanese and half Filipino, has been named one of four finalists in Rolling Stone’s Street to State competition. She is the only Asian American finalist, and the only one from Seattle.
Based on popular voting, if Calbero wins, she will perform on stage at the Rolling Stone Rock Room in Austin, Texas in 2012.
Calbero is a 2010 graduate of Marysville-Pilchuck High School. She regularly performs at Pike Place Market.
