Bellevue software engineer Jennifer K. Chung wrote her novel “Terroyaki!” in three days for the International 3-Day Novel Contest held last September. Out of about 675 entries, Chung’s won first place. As a result, her book will be published by 3-Day Books, based in Vancouver, BC.
“Terroryaki!” is about a Taiwanese girl whose parents won’t warm up to her white fiance. On top of this, there’s a haunted teriyaki truck to boot.
Chung grew up in Southern California and studied computer science at MIT. ♦
