Blog: The happiest in-laws

March 10, 2011 By Northwest Asian Weekly

Celia and Larry Lee on their 50th wedding anniversary in Seattle, 2010.

Locke’s wife, Mona, has parents who live in China.

A decade ago, Celia and Larry Lee retired from California and moved to Shanghai. I imagine the Lees would have been the first to applaud the news. They will be able to see their grandkids as often as they wish now.

I was told that the Lockes plan to move to Beijing during the summer, when the kids are done with school.

The Lees would probably buy a condominium in Beijing to be close to their lovely grand children. ♦
