Mandy Kwan
Mandy Kwan has won the Violet Richardson Award by Soroptimist International of Seattle Metropolitan. This award honors young women for volunteer action. She will receive a $500 cash award.
Kwan is a 17-year-old Garfield High School student. She is an active volunteer with The Atlantic Street Center, a social service agency that has served Seattle since 1910.
Soroptimist International of Seattle Metropolitan is part of the Soroptimist International of the Americas, an international volunteer organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.
The award ceremony will be held at the Women’s University Club on March 16. ♦
