The Li Fang-Kuei & Hsu Ying Graduate Fellowship Award in Chinese Linguists is awarded annually to second-year or higher level graduate students who are studying Chinese linguistics in any department at the University of Washington.
For the award, Chinese linguistics is broadly defined to include ethnic nationality languages and dialects spoken within any part of China.
The award period is for the 2011–2012 academic year. Winners will receive two quarters of support, including tuition waivers, benefits, and a $9,500 stipend.
