The Korean American Coalition of Washington (KAC-WA) hosted its 2010 Leadership Awards Gala at the Westin Hotel in Seattle. The Gala, entitled “Celebrate Shining Stars,” showcased the diversity of the local Korean American community and highlighted its contributions.

The Community Service Award was awarded to Eugene Cho, of One Day’s Wages. The Rocky Kim Pioneer Award was awarded to Tacoma Mayor Marilyn Strickland. The Business/Professional Leadership Award was awarded to Ben Huh, CEO of the Cheezburger Network. The Artistic Achievement Award was awarded to Morning Star Korean Cultural Center.
About 250 people attended the gala.
