This year, Seattle Central Community College Foundation awarded $340,000 worth of scholarships to 118 students at its Dare to Dream Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, held at Seattle Central’s Charles H. Mitchell Activity Center. A total of 135 awards were given out this year.
Each year, the foundation, a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, supports Seattle Central students by raising funds to support student scholarships through endowments and annual gifts, childcare assistance, and college-wide free tutoring. ♦
