For the past 10 years, the Washington Fencing Academy (WFA) has been renting sites around the Puget Sound. However, in September, the academy finally found a permanent home in Issaquah.
The WFA, part of the United States Fencing Association, provides instruction, coaching, and events to people of all ages and abilities. Its executive coach and co-founder is Kevin Mar. Its fencing master (the highest-level fencing instructor accreditation) and head saber coach is Wang Yung. ♦
