At the 2010 Berkeley Open during the 2010 JOOLA North American Tour, a tournament that drew table tennis players from many states, local players won in five categories and placed second in three categories.
The winners from Washington state were (Billy) Xu Ding, Jason Shim, and Michael J. Zhao. Lucy Ma and Zhao placed second.
The tournament took place at the University of California, Berkeley. ♦
