Japan’s ambassador to the United States Ichiro Fujisaki and his wife, Noriko, visited Seattle this week and made an appearance at the Seattle Rotary Club. Fujisaki spoke to 340 people about U.S.–Japan relations, the Japanese economy, and the strength of Japan.
This was Fujisaki’s first visit to Seattle as ambassador. He was in the city 50 years ago at age 13, while he was a junior high student and his father a diplomat. ♦
