Sept. 1: $5,000 raised at first-ever Mariners Asian Pacific American Heritage Night

The Seattle Mariners held its first-ever Mariners Asian Pacific American Heritage Night at Safeco Field during a game against the Los Angeles Angels.

Actor Scott Foley, who speaks Japanese and has lived in Japan, threw the first pitch in support of heritage night. Through ticket sales, the event raised more than $5,000, benefiting Kin On and Nikkei Concerns. ♦
