Four local tennis teams won in the United States Tennis Association League Pacific Northwest Section Championships. More than 65 teams participated in the competition in Portland, Ore.
Two local teams from Robinswood Tennis Center in Bellevue won the women’s 3.5 and 2.5 sections. Two teams from Mill Creek Tennis Club won the men’s 3.0 and 3.5 sections.
The national championships will be held this fall in Indian Wells, Calif., Rancho Mirage, Calif., and Tucson, Ariz. ♦
