The Viet Nam Scholarship Foundation (VNSF) held its 6th Annual Benefit Event at the New Holly Gathering Hall. The event drew more than 80 guests from the Seattle and San Francisco areas. The event raised more than $30,000 for scholarship and library programs benefiting economically disadvantaged students in Vietnam.
The event is the primary fundraising event for the VNSF. As in past years, guests enjoyed street-style Vietnamese cuisine and desserts. There were also silent and live auctions.
Founded in 2001, VNSF has grown to support more than 350 students in Vietnam in 2010 through scholarships and has established four local libraries. ♦
