Washington Gov. Chris Gregoire appointed four people to the Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs.
Appointed are Jagdish Sharma, from Everett, Rey Pascua, from Sunnyside, Tashi Khamshitsang, from Shoreline, and Tyati Tufono, from Lynnwood. It will be the second term for Sharma and the third for Pascua.
The Commission on Asian Pacific American Affairs was established to improve the well-being of Asian Pacific Americans (APAs). It strives to ensure their access to participation in the fields of government, business, education, and other areas. ♦
