International Students from the University of Washington promote their culture through FIUTS Global Ambassador Day at TOPS Elementary school
The Option Program at Seward (TOPS), a K–8 school in the Seattle Public School District, partnered with the University of Washington’s Foundation for International Understanding Through Students (FUITS) for Global Ambassador Day, an event that brought 250 elementary students together with 25 international university students to share crafts, language, music, and games from their respective countries.
The university students represented 19 different countries. The event took place in the historic Seward building in Eastlake. ♦
