Paul Horiuchi’s paintings and collages are being exhibited at artREsource through May 8. Some of the pieces that are being showcased have never been seen by the public before.
Horiuchi (1906–1999) was a Northwest artist who earned national acclaim. He was designated by the Emperor of Japan as a Sacred Treasure, Fourth Class, in 1976. In 1989, he received the Washington State Governor’s Award of Special Commendation.
