Attention: Festival calls for filmakers of Asian/Pacific Islander descent

April 8, 2010 By Northwest Asian Weekly

Filmmakers of Asian Pacific Islander descent can submit their entries for free to the third annual ID Film Festival organized by the Japanese Americans National Museum in Los Angeles.

The festival will take place from Oct. 7–10 at the Tateuchi Democracy Forum in downtown Los Angeles.

“ID Film Fest welcomes film and video works of all lengths and genres,” said Public Programs Manager Koji Steven Sakai. “The only requirement is that the filmmaker is identified as hapa/mixed or an Asian/Pacific Islander.”

The submission deadline is July 1.  ♦
