Ashley Cheuk
Ashley Cheuk, 10, is the 2009 Junior Olympic National Champion in Rhythmic Gymnastics. She has started competing for the 2010 season. Cheuk is a fifth grader at Bellevue Children’s Academy.
Prior to the National Championships, Cheuk won the Region 2 Junior Olympic Regional Championships and was named as the Regional Championship Gymnast of the Year for the second straight year.
Region 2 consists of 12 states. She is the only Washington state gymnast at the 2009 Junior Olympic Rhythmic National Championships in Level 4 or 5 to medal in all four events: ball, hoop, rope, and floor. At the championships, she received a fifth all-around championship medal. ♦
