Professor Roger Daniels
Professor Roger Daniels, an Asian American studies scholar, gave an open lecture on the incarceration of Japanese Americans in World War II.
He discussed ways the communities have remembered the incarceration, from postwar neglect to the redress struggles. He also addressed the problems of teaching the material without many living witnesses. The event was presented by Densho and the Wing Luke Asian Museum. ♦
