The National Asian Pacific Center on Aging (NAPCA) won the Seattle Human Services Coalition’s (SHSC) 2009 Innovative Program Award for its toll-free, multilingual helpline.
NAPCA’s helpline was created in 2004 in order to address the language needs of the Asian and Pacific Islander communities. In this past year, the helpline has handled more than 24,000 calls. ♦
