George Suyama of Suyama Peterson Deguchi received the AIA Seattle Medal of Honor. Suyama received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Washington. His extensive involvement in the arts community includes serving as a board member for the Henry Art Gallery, On the Boards, and the Seattle Arts Commission.
