Humanities Washington has granted $80,356, a total of 16 grants, for humanities projects to serve Washington’s Asian American communities.
The Southeast Asia Center at the University of Washington received $5,000 for a project aimed to spark critical discussion among students, faculty and local Southeast Asian American community members about their complex social, cultural and political concerns.
Washington State University received $5,000 so Chinese author Mo Yan can give a presentation at Seattle’s Central Library.
