Ducks: In Korean culture, a pair of wooden ducks is meant to symbolize the partners in the marriage.
Wrapped leaves: In a Vietnamese wedding ceremony, there is often a dish of betel and areca nut.
Cloth-covered trays: Before a Vietnamese wedding, the groom’s family visits the bride’s family with gifts of cakes, tea, wine, and sweets carried in trays with a red cloths over them.
