Mahnaz Eshetu and Christina Wong are on the task force for Seattle’s Equitable Communities Initiative—which commits $100 million in new investments annually starting with Mayor Jenny Durkan’s 2021 budget proposal to both scale some of the City’s current programs and examine additional priority areas for new investments.
These investments focused on the Black, Indigenous, and communities of color will be guided by the task force.
